CASE HISTORY 1

Whiting, NJ • Summer 2008

Due to leaks in an underground fuel oil tank, soils adjacent to the house were excavated and replaced. Extensive structural shoring using helical piles and vinyl sheet shoring allowed unlimited access to the contaminated area without disturbing the structure.

Approximately 100 tons of soil were removed and disposed of then back filled with certified clean fill. At the completion of the remediation post excavation samples were taken and submitted to the NJDEP.

Renovations to the property commenced with notification of clean samples. This project lasted approximately four weeks from start to finish.
